Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Returns are subject to restocking fees of 25% and return shipping fees. Handstyle Fine Hardware may assess the restocking fees and return shipping fees against the customer’s account or deduct the fees from the refund amount on all returns, subject to the Return Policy and any product-specific policy.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused or uninstalled, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@handstyle.ca. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a Return Goods Authorization Form and (if applicable) return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Any shipping fees (including, but not limited to, standard shipping fees, expedited shipping fees) are non-refundable. Please note, that as we offer free shipping on all orders above $250, if your return lowers the original order price to below $250, the standard $18 shipping fee will be applied to your original order when your credit is issued.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom sized or finished products (such as special orders or personalized items) items cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

Warranty Disclaimer – Shipping, Duties, and Taxes

Products sold through this platform may be covered by limited warranties provided by their respective manufacturers or suppliers (“the Warranty Providers”). All warranty claims are subject to the specific terms and conditions established by the applicable Warranty Provider.

Customers shall be solely responsible for all costs associated with shipping products to and from the Warranty Provider or their designated service center in connection with any warranty claim. This includes, without limitation, all shipping and handling charges, customs duties and any other fees or levies imposed by carriers or government authorities.

Handstyle Fine Hardware does not assume responsibility for, and shall not be liable for, any such charges incurred as part of the warranty process, regardless of the Warranty Provider involved.

By initiating a warranty claim, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees to these terms and accepts full responsibility for any associated costs.

Any request to modify or cancel an order must be made before the order is prepared for shipment and before it arrives at our store.

Once an order has arrived at our store or has been prepared for shipment, it is considered final and any requested changes will be treated as a return, subject to all applicable restocking fees and return shipping charges outlined in this policy.
